Current windows version is version latest build. But so far windows update has not prompted to install any newer version like or version 20H2. And version support will be ending soon May Lenovo has a list of laptops that they tested with version but my laptop is not on it as I assume the company considers it old now 5 years. Format the nvme drive and install windows 10 or 20H2 manually from ISO windows creation tool.

My laptop has a capable hardware and I’m not considering a replacement, at least not in the very short term future I might at the end of year. But I’m still confused why windows update hasn’t offered an update yet since all the issues with version were resolved or mitigated. I don’t have urgent need to update this laptop, however. Lenovo support will not provide any help in that regard. The laptop is out of warranty and they do not support it anymore. Well version will lose support after 4 months.
